Musa formerly lived in Bassa town Waterloo with both parents, but his mother was a business woman who traded in expensive fabrics. She used to collect loans from banks and small scale money lenders. One day after returning home very late she ran into some criminals who took away all her money and large portions of her goods.
After some time, the lenders of the loans began running after her for their money. This pressure led her and his father to leave town without his notice. Musa was forced to stop school. His parents have now paid all their debts and are back in Waterloo and live together.
Musa is in Class VI Primary and is awaiting the results of his National Primary School Examination for promotion to Junior Secondary I.
