Triniti lives in Batey Lechería in the Dominican Republic. Batey is the Haitian word for village. The older generations in Batey Lechería are Haitian.
Triniti lives with her mother and her six siblings. Her dad passed away making their circumstances even more difficult. Triniti's mom works at a cherry plantation to try and provide for her family.
Triniti speaks Spanish and some Creole. She attends the public school that is two miles from her village. She is currently in 3rd grade and her favorite subject is math. In her free time, Triniti likes to play with a kitchen set. In the future she would like to become a doctor.
