José Ramon was born in the Dominican Republic. Along with his sister, he lives with his grandmother who is missing a limb (her arm). His parents both abandoned him when he was very young. José Ramon's grandmother sells various items on the street to try to sustain her grandchildren.
Currently, José Ramon is in 6th grade at the primary public school. His favorite subject is mathematics and handwriting. During his free time he likes to play soccer. When he grows up he wants to become an engineer.
