Huge Announcement!

We are so excited to announce the 25 Project is adding a new location for ministry, this time in McKinney, Texas. We have prayed for a place to minister to children here in the U.S., and God certainly has answered. He has given us the opportunity to work with kids right in the city where our headquarters are located!

Friends of ours several years ago began DV8, a ministry dedicated to reaching at-risk kids in McKinney’s lower-income housing. The ministry was thriving for a few years, but due to a number of factors, was not able to continue. God has so graciously allowed us to begin ministering with these kids and their families.

Beginning in September, the 25 Project will launch Illuminate, with Isaiah 30:21 as our guiding verse: And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it”, when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

We are so fired up to announce that leading Illuminate will be Angie Farquhar. Angie has had a connection to the 25 Project for several years, and has in fact been with us to Sierra Leone. At the same time, Angie was a leader within DV8 in the past. She brings a ton of experience and passion for children, and we are absolutely thrilled to have her join the 25 Project team.  Welcome Angie!

If you live in the Collin County area, we will be officially launching Illuminate this September.  Stay tuned for more information on how you can serve kids through Illuminate!
