After 2 years…A New Team is Finally Headed to Sierra Leone!

For the first time in two years, we have a team headed back to serve in Sierra Leone. Because of the spread of Ebola in West Africa, we were forced to suspend all teams traveling to serve our kids there. Praise God though, a new 25 Project team will be on the ground in Sierra Leone, and will be investing in the lives of many precious kids. We are expecting great things!

Among several things this team will do will be to put on a camp for the kids where the Gospel will be communicated and put on display. Our greatest hope is that our kids will come to know Christ, be changed by Him, and then develop into committed followers of Him.  We believe this camp is part of the long-term strategy to see complete life transformation in every child’s life.

Along with putting on a camp for former street kids, the team will also spend considerable time with the kids of Margaret’s home. Over the last few years, we have certainly come to love each of these young people, and we are excited to see another team invest into their walk with Christ.

We ask you to join us in praying for the Spirit of God to move…for the heart of each kid to be stirred by Him, and for each one to be drawn into a more intimate and personal relationship with God.

As an encouragement and reminder, we have two more Sierra Leone teams scheduled for 2016, one in March, and one in October. Maybe you could be one of the team members in October? Click here to learn more about serving on this team!
